Next To Go

Next To Go scheduling covers all races on all racing codes (R/T/G). These pages are set and forget in that once set they will operate totally automatically switching to the next to go when betting closes for the current race. Pages with next to go scheduling are commonly used as the theatrette/feature wall of a TAB so punters get to know that they can always look here to see what is jumping next. Some pages are scheduled as second next, third next etc enabling a complete view of upcoming races.

Locked to Location

Locked to Location scheduling covers all races for any code (R/T/G) for a specified location. The location is defined by the first character of the state TAB’s race code. For instance specifying ‘S’ as the location (corresponding to the ‘S‘ in ‘SR/SG/ST’) will schedule all races running in Sydney on all codes. Typically there is at least one race for each location every day, so as a general rule using this scheduling method combined with some next to go screens will give you a totally ‘hands free’ venue and free up staff time. These pages automatically switch between thoroughbreds, trots and greyhounds as required so a screen that would cover Sydney racing during the day will automatically display Sydney greys and trots at night without needing any attention. Scheduling by location is a new strategy unique to Flexicast and was introduced as a measure to reduce staff interaction in busy venues.

Locked to Meeting

Locked to Meeting scheduling covers all races at one specific race meeting. As each race at the meeting closes the system will switch the page’s focus to the next race to jump at that meeting.
